Preprint and Prior Publication Policy

LJLS considers manuscripts that have not been previously published or publicly deposited as preprints. Manuscripts that have previously been posted on preprint servers or other publicly accessible platforms as preliminary versions of the same research are not eligible for submission.

Authors must confirm during submission that the manuscript has not been published previously, deposited on a preprint platform, or submitted simultaneously to another journal.

Duplicate publication, simultaneous submission, and substantial overlap with previously published work are not permitted.

Authors must disclose any related publications, abstracts, conference proceedings, or other materials that may overlap with the submitted manuscript. Such cases are assessed by the editorial team to determine whether the material constitutes prior publication or duplicate dissemination.

Failure to disclose previous dissemination or simultaneous submission may result in rejection or further action in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics policies.
