Manuscript Withdrawal Policy

LJLS recognises that authors may occasionally need to withdraw a submitted manuscript. Authors wishing to withdraw a manuscript must complete and submit the journal’s official Manuscript Withdrawal Form, available on the journal’s website, to the editorial office.

The form must include the manuscript title, submission reference number, reason for withdrawal, and confirmation that all listed authors agree to the withdrawal request. The corresponding author is responsible for coordinating the request and confirming the agreement of all co-authors.

Withdrawal requests are reviewed by the editorial office. A manuscript is considered officially withdrawn only after written confirmation has been issued by the journal.

Authors must not submit the same manuscript to another journal while it remains under consideration by LJLS. Following formal confirmation of withdrawal, authors may submit the manuscript elsewhere.

Withdrawal requests submitted after formal acceptance or publication are not treated as routine withdrawals. Such requests are considered by the Editor-in-Chief in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics and research integrity policies. Where necessary, appropriate editorial actions, including corrections or retractions, may be considered.
